Trusted Network Platform™
Data is the basic building block for all financial activities. EEI's Trusted Network is quickly becoming the preferred platform to aggregate financial and related data from diverse sources. With a client base of over 100 of the leading financial institutions including 6 of the top 10 Wealth Managers, EEI is a trusted provider to the most demanding global firms.
The Trusted Network has been successfully managing significant volume and breadth of data for over 15 years. Our sSWIFTolution serves over 15,000 retirement services providers, credit card providers, tax services firms and online banking and bill pay enablers. It is a platform that can power both short-term solutions to address the fast pace of change in the markets and longer-term strategies which drive competitive advantage.
The platform can quickly provide connectivity with key financial sources (banks, credit card companies and others) which will automate the process of customer authorization. This eliminates the manual effort and extended timeframe currently required to complete and execute LOA's for each of a customer's bank accounts. The Trusted Network will also provide the highest levels of security to ensure that customer data is not compromised. Automated bank authorization reduces elapsed time and operations efforts by 40% as a result of lower errors, increased quality and reduced manual effort. The end result is increased customer satisfaction.
The Trusted Network is also the foundation for a strategic data platform required to meet customer demands.
FI customers today want to be able to access any and all of their data in a digital format through multiple devices using various financial applications. They want the data to be consistent and provided as near real time as possible. The Trusted Network is focused on sourcing data in any format from internal and external sources to provide quality, standardized, consistent information that enriches the solutions provided by its partners.
New financial applications are continuously becoming available to the consumer and to businesses. To stay ahead of the competition, providers of financial applications have to innovate new applications and focus on attracting and retaining clients. This is achieved with laser focus on the business application development. By relying on EEI's data platform, the provider is not distracted with development and maintenance of the core. The vendor can be focused on driving the client application while leveraging EEI's aggregation platform to provide robust, secure, high quality data.
EEI combines it deep data and industry knowledge with a leading aggregation platform to uniquely position itself as the FI data aggregator.
☑ The increasing sophistication of clients leading to demands of data anywhere, anytime on any device with access to any financial application, has heightened the risk of losing control of the data. EEI's Trusted Network utilizes OAuth 2.0, which is the defacto industry standard for user authentication. To securely communicate between the Trusted Network Platform and the Financial Institution, EEI uses both network transport mutual authentication and message security as defined by the OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code Grant and Bearer Token model.
☑ Our solutions deliver real-time information.
☑ A consolidated view of key financial information empowers clients and helps to drive their businesses.
☑ The Trusted Network Platform can communicate with any FI or Custodian using industry messaging standards. The consuming client application can communicate with the Trusted Network Platform using RESTful service calls. All communications are encrypted over SSL (HTTPS) due to the sensitivity of the data.
☑ The Trusted Network Platform can implement business rules to enhance the information as long as the data is available for manipulation.
☑ Many aggregators depend on screen scraping to obtain data. This is a flawed approach given the overhead of continuously changing web interfaces along with the higher risk of credentials being compromised. The Trusted Network does not rely on screen scraping. It provides a direct connect mechanism to obtain data from the FI. Industry standard messaging protocols (ISO15022, IFX, OFX, SWIFT, etc.) are used with the FI's OFX servers to acquire data for a customer's banking, credit card, investment, bill pay, loan and tax data.
☑ Most client applications or apps existing today are either web or mobile. The Trusted Network shall offer RESTful Services that would cater to different client application's types and their various needs. The Trusted Network Platform shall communicate with the FI's server via a supported messaging protocol. The Platform Solution then publishes the acquired data to various client applications thru an interface called Financial Services Application Program Interface or FS-API™.
☑ EEI provides a 24x7x365 technical support number
☑ Continuous product enhancement is required of the support team to address functional, performance and support process improvement. The Platform Solution undergoes regular 360-review. Clients, FIs, EEI supportdevelopment and Information Security teams and EEI product owners shall regularly give their individual reviews to give enhancements and improvements a holistic approach.
☑ The Trusted Network Platform is hosted in a secure cloud environment.
☑ The Trusted Network Platform's FI Profile database can contain adjacent data including company logos, custom verbiage, technical support URL and service endpoint discovery. It is flexible enough to adjust to diverse application requirements focusing on the end-user experience.
☑ Customers of the client app will use the same connectivity credentials they have for their respective FI andor custodian. However, the login credentials will be entered only once during authorization grant and each subsequent call will be authenticated through access tokens.
☑ The Trusted Network Platform uses OAuth 2.0 for authorization.
☑ For data privacy and identity theft protection, the Trusted Network Platform is fully compliant to the regulations of protecting non-public information (NPI) and personally identifiable information (PII) of the client application's customers. Each customer and account are surrogated by keys that are only identifiable within the Trusted Network.
